We are having SNOW much fun!

We have been having bunches of fun reading and making snowman and snow stuff!

We made snowglobes and wrote about if we lived in a snowglobe!

We read the story Snowmen At Night and painted our snowmen!

Then we wrote about what we would do at night!

They turned out super cute!

We also celebrated Rylee's birthday on January 10!

Polar Express Party!!!

We had so much fun during our Polar Express party!!  The kids came all dressed in their pajamas!  They all looked so cute!!!

We started our morning by making our Christmas trees!  They loved it!

Then Santa came by to visit!!!!

Then we played 2 rounds of musical chairs!!!

We watched the Polar Express and drank yummy hot chocolate!  The kids loved visiting the Hot Chocolate Bar we had set up!  The picked the toppings for their yummy cup!

Christmas Program

Our Kindergarten Christmas Program was today and the kids did GREAT!!  They were just singing their little hearts out!  Thanks Amazing Monkeys for working so hard and singing so beautifully today!  I was a proud teacher!!

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!!!

We had a "special delivery" for Chloe from Santa!  Her uncle arrived back from a long tour in Iraq!  Wowsers!!  This made me cry, cry, cry!  So SWEET!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving & Happy Birthday!

We have been so busy learning about Thanksgiving!  We have had so much fun, though!  I truly LOVE this time of year!  It seems the kiddos are really into school and learning and WANT to know all about the first Thanksgiving and the pilgrims!  I also LOVE hearing about what they are thankful for!  It truly warms my heart!  I LOVE this age!!!

We learned about the pilgrims long ago and how we are still the same today and how we are different.

They REALLY enjoyed learning about the Mayflower and what life was like for the pilgrims on that journey!

We learned the parts of a turkey and made our can, have, are chart!

LOVE the leaf-pile kids!  They turned out so cute!  They wrote about fall!

Here are our turkeys....trying not to get eaten!  My favorite is Eat more cucumbers!  Ha!

We made pilgrims and Native Americans!  Both turned out precious!

It says.....I am thankful for my teacher.  She teaches me lots of stuff.  I love math workstations!  I love you too Chloe!

Our Indians were a lot of fun to make!  We are working on reading and writing our number words!

I had to go home sick that day....YUCK!! So our writing did not get done....which made me sad!
